To meet our customer's needs, F&D designed and created The Omega Dot Tubing which has a special glass fiber sealed into the bore that greatly enhances capillary action. Omega Dot Tubing will fill quickly, pull consistently and easily facilitate the penetration of individual cells. Open tip sizes have been drawn to 0.05 microns. Omega Dot Tubing can be fabricated to your specifications in a variety of shapes (square, hexagonal, rectangular, and triangular, etc.) and in a variety of glass and quartz formulations.
Omega Dot tubing is available in single- and multi-barrel configurations; each barrel contains a 100 micron mating glass fiber welded to the inside diameter.
